Tennis at Huntcliff

For years, Huntcliff has maintained a reputation in the metro area as having a vital, competitive tennis community. The large collection of ALTA signs hanging at the courts are testament to that. We regularly field an excellent variety of teams, from Juniors to Adults, for league play in the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA). In the last few years, we have also experienced an increase in participation in the T-2 and K-Swiss leagues. But it’s not all league play, of course. The use of our courts is available all year long to any current Facilities Member. Come check us out! Tennis is certainly a way of life here in Huntcliff! League Play

With over 80,000 members, the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA) is the area’s premier tennis league. The courts at Huntcliff are officially annexed by ALTA for league play. ALTA offers leagues for juniors (singles and doubles), men and women (doubles and mixed doubles), seniors (doubles and mixed doubles) and for the wheelchair-bound (singles, doubles and mixed doubles). T2, K-Swiss and League Tennis leagues offer an alternative to the traditional neighborhood team play, and offer a bit more flexibility in the scheduling of matches. A growing number of Huntcliff players are involved in these leagues. To a certain extent, matches for these leagues are generally scheduled so as not to interfere with ALTA play. In the T2 league, you and your chosen partner form a doubles team (women’s or men’s) and compete with other doubles teams from the metro area. Juniors play singles.
